Scarlet Nexus and Tales of Arise do seem unimpressive from promo materials alone.
I'm fine with skepticism, but IMO there is reason to be wary about Bamco. This may have legs.
I've played both, they're not woke.
They're not anti-woke either but when you're using psychic powers and magic it's not weird seeing women fight. Not like BFV or CoD
Scarlet Nexus is more bland than anything, I felt the staff were neutering themselves in terms of creativity.
Arise is pretty darn preachy (especially about colonialism). I felt a more left-wing Western audience was the target for Arise, which among other things is why I skipped it.
That's a pretty over simplification of Arise's story but whatever.
Slavery is, indeed, bad and the bad guys are actually bad.
That is not a "leftist" position.
Maybe not, but virtue signaling and being preachy about it is, especially in today's world. and with woke commentators praising the story as "evolved with the times" .And also they had obvious internal censorship of the alternate costumes and designs , with it being more tame than the previous entries , points to it being having woke influence. ,
