For those of you who don't believe that voting has any meaning any longer and that voter/election fraud is going to negate any right-wing voters, you should still vote.
Vote to expose the election fraud. Every single person who votes against the establishment will increase the total number of votes that have to be forged to make the "correct" candidate(s) victorious. For those of you in California, vote in the recall election. Even if Gavin Newsom has people helping him commit fraud, the more people come out to vote against him, the more obvious the fraud becomes. Then, it can become possible for people who are either on the fence about or outright deny the existence of voter/election fraud will see our arguments in a more sympathetic light.
Vote to expose. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Keep voting. Vote in person. Vote on paper, not electronically. Make sure that you’re registered to vote. It can’t hurt to cast your ballot.
On that note, I remember seeing an article from some newspaper freaking out because while no one was looking (or were talking about other things), the Trump Populist types snuck in and took over 1,000+ seats in off elections or at more local. They have also been a lot more willing to play the game while still staying in the rules as much as possible. I have seen reports of Cali GOP going around and ballet harvesting using the Dems own rules for it, and the Dems dont know what to do because they cant stop them without also stopping themselves. And it has already worked before, with some seats being won in 2020 by GOP ballet harvesting.
It was pointed out by Carl in one of the recent Lotuseater podcast, where a Left Wing journo was freaking out over the fact that "Trump Republicans are no longer playing by the rules." In response to that, he said that the reason is because they are "fighting like Democrats, and now they're beating you, and you hate it."
Which is pretty much the current left in a nutshell, isn't it?
They'll always find some sophistry to justify what they're doing or the rules that they've created themselves; however, when those rules are used against them, they play the victim and pretend there's some sort of evil plot afoot.
This is precisely why so many people have called for a closing of these loopholes and easily exploitable systems.
No one should feel bad for playing by the rules of the game that prevaricators and venal politicians created to benefit themselves. For them to say that others are not "playing by the rules" is to say that they themselves aren't "playing by the rules" either, since all of the things mentioned are things that there's a very demonstrable history of them participating in. It's exactly as you quoted; they don't like the idea that what they've created can also be used against them.
That's just another example of how participation in the system can lead to change that people want to see happen. Meeting like-minded individuals in your local community and forming a group that advocates for shared beliefs can be a very powerful tool.
Even if it doesn't cause immediate change and solve all the problems instantly, it still makes it significantly more difficult for these acidulous ideologues to claim the power that they so desperately seek. The fallacy that you can change the entire system by doing some singular magical thing is something a child would think. It takes many small things, being done by many people — even then, you're not guaranteed success either. That said, if they're going to achieve any victory, then people should ensure it's a pyrrhic victory at best.
Doing absolutely nothing except complaining online and waiting for societal collapse is equally immature, in my opinion. Anyone who has people that they care about in their lives, especially younger ones, should always make any attempts they can for their sake as well.
I also think that there is a bit of jealousy involved. The Left has been attempting to take over the Democrat party for decades, but never gets any really headway in doing it, and has to be thrown pity candidates or red meat laws every once in a while, and while the areas they hold power over have strong control, it is a very small area overall. Meanwhile, the Trump Populist got their guy elected on the first go, and then when the entire establishment rose up to oppose them, they ate the Republican establishment and started running roughshod over all who stood in their way at every level except the Federal.
And they cant come to terms with the fact that those supposed "right wing chuds" are doing what they always failed to do, and seemingly doing it easily. Mostly because they dont seem to realize that their "win at all cost" "political total war" attitude created a ton of conservatives and normal people willing to say "Ok, fine. You want a knife fight? Lets have a knife fight."
For sure. They certainly don't do themselves any favors at all by taking everything to extreme degrees of delusion and tossing out labels on anyone who disagrees. They've created more opposition than the GOP themselves through their crybullying, shoving their beliefs down everyone's throats, intolerance, and absolutely ridiculous temper tantrums.
