For those of you who don't believe that voting has any meaning any longer and that voter/election fraud is going to negate any right-wing voters, you should still vote.
Vote to expose the election fraud. Every single person who votes against the establishment will increase the total number of votes that have to be forged to make the "correct" candidate(s) victorious. For those of you in California, vote in the recall election. Even if Gavin Newsom has people helping him commit fraud, the more people come out to vote against him, the more obvious the fraud becomes. Then, it can become possible for people who are either on the fence about or outright deny the existence of voter/election fraud will see our arguments in a more sympathetic light.
Vote to expose. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Keep voting. Vote in person. Vote on paper, not electronically. Make sure that you’re registered to vote. It can’t hurt to cast your ballot.
It's not just voting either; it's participation in the process itself.
Anyone who tells you not to participate in the system at all, to sit back and wait and take care of yourself, or that it's all pointless while using nonsensical strawman arguments, reductio ad absurdum, screaming they "won't play their game," or plain imaginative make-believe, is likely doing so for a very clear purpose. You should question why anyone would advocate for doing nothing until after things get really bad to begin with.
There was an interesting thread where the topic was discussed a bit a couple days ago. I'll repeat what I said then in a couple posts.
If you really want to at least try to make a difference, be sure to sign up to be a poll worker/watcher as soon as possible. You have primaries coming up and as we know, they're not above stealing elections.
Make their life more difficult in every conceivable way at every single opportunity. Even if it seems petty and stupid, be like an itch that won't go away. A constant source of irritation and annoyance. Make them earn their miserable dystopian hellhole wasteland every step of the way, so that if they ever actually achieve it, they're so worn out and exhausted that they never get to enjoy it.
The more that participate, the harder their job becomes. This is simple common sense.
Even if the people going in don't have much power, they are a valuable asset; much like participation is. The more involvement people have the more their corruption can be elucidated for the average person. Participation does not preclude you from planning in other ways. It does not stop anyone from being prepared. It's just one more important thing that people can do to make elites task exponentially more difficult and their lives a bit more more miserable. It's a tool in your arsenal. It makes what's taking place into a war of attrition — and a lot of these assholes are old as hell anyway. The more people that participate, the more their nonsense can be disrupted, at the very least. It's not even like it's some super difficult thing to do and in reality, affords you the ability to make meaningful connections with like-minded people off the internet within your community to help push back on them.
This is not to say that these things are the answers we're looking for and that they'll solve all of our problems either. We'll still likely face tons of trouble and difficulty going forward; however, the alternative is to sit back and do nothing. It's one of many things that people can do simultaneously while doing other things as well.
Planning for an aftermath isn't a plan. It's submission and acceptance of your place.
Right? I don't mind if people want to believe certain things, because there's a compelling case to be made that he certainly had some inside information, but no one will ever tell you to sit back and do nothing and wait if they truly have your best interest in mind.
Participation is important to any cause.
On that note, I remember seeing an article from some newspaper freaking out because while no one was looking (or were talking about other things), the Trump Populist types snuck in and took over 1,000+ seats in off elections or at more local. They have also been a lot more willing to play the game while still staying in the rules as much as possible. I have seen reports of Cali GOP going around and ballet harvesting using the Dems own rules for it, and the Dems dont know what to do because they cant stop them without also stopping themselves. And it has already worked before, with some seats being won in 2020 by GOP ballet harvesting.
It was pointed out by Carl in one of the recent Lotuseater podcast, where a Left Wing journo was freaking out over the fact that "Trump Republicans are no longer playing by the rules." In response to that, he said that the reason is because they are "fighting like Democrats, and now they're beating you, and you hate it."
Which is pretty much the current left in a nutshell, isn't it?
They'll always find some sophistry to justify what they're doing or the rules that they've created themselves; however, when those rules are used against them, they play the victim and pretend there's some sort of evil plot afoot.
This is precisely why so many people have called for a closing of these loopholes and easily exploitable systems.
No one should feel bad for playing by the rules of the game that prevaricators and venal politicians created to benefit themselves. For them to say that others are not "playing by the rules" is to say that they themselves aren't "playing by the rules" either, since all of the things mentioned are things that there's a very demonstrable history of them participating in. It's exactly as you quoted; they don't like the idea that what they've created can also be used against them.
That's just another example of how participation in the system can lead to change that people want to see happen. Meeting like-minded individuals in your local community and forming a group that advocates for shared beliefs can be a very powerful tool.
Even if it doesn't cause immediate change and solve all the problems instantly, it still makes it significantly more difficult for these acidulous ideologues to claim the power that they so desperately seek. The fallacy that you can change the entire system by doing some singular magical thing is something a child would think. It takes many small things, being done by many people — even then, you're not guaranteed success either. That said, if they're going to achieve any victory, then people should ensure it's a pyrrhic victory at best.
Doing absolutely nothing except complaining online and waiting for societal collapse is equally immature, in my opinion. Anyone who has people that they care about in their lives, especially younger ones, should always make any attempts they can for their sake as well.
I also think that there is a bit of jealousy involved. The Left has been attempting to take over the Democrat party for decades, but never gets any really headway in doing it, and has to be thrown pity candidates or red meat laws every once in a while, and while the areas they hold power over have strong control, it is a very small area overall. Meanwhile, the Trump Populist got their guy elected on the first go, and then when the entire establishment rose up to oppose them, they ate the Republican establishment and started running roughshod over all who stood in their way at every level except the Federal.
And they cant come to terms with the fact that those supposed "right wing chuds" are doing what they always failed to do, and seemingly doing it easily. Mostly because they dont seem to realize that their "win at all cost" "political total war" attitude created a ton of conservatives and normal people willing to say "Ok, fine. You want a knife fight? Lets have a knife fight."
For sure. They certainly don't do themselves any favors at all by taking everything to extreme degrees of delusion and tossing out labels on anyone who disagrees. They've created more opposition than the GOP themselves through their crybullying, shoving their beliefs down everyone's throats, intolerance, and absolutely ridiculous temper tantrums.
