I don’t usually recommend the Toronto Star but this is something. Attacking the Canadian flag (as Trumpy!); attacking military service; even attacking a mom stranded in Afghanistan. I wonder if they really believe all this. I think they do.
There’s a little Donald Trump in Erin O’Toole By Heather Mallick: https://archive.is/Jw26q
FYI the Toronto Star gets over $100k/wk from Trudeau's media bribe.
Here's TS columnist, Trudeau Foundation member & sister of a Liberal fundraiser Susan Delacourt (who was selected by Trudeau's Leadership Debate Commission to be a moderator in the last election debate) angry the plebs aren't accepting their fascism like good little boys: https://archive.is/S5fto
Here is @cafreeland talking about Trump while a Trump-like crowd tries to drown her out.
Donald Trump: Alive, well, and living rent-free in the minds of Canadian journalists.
He's so powerful that Biden was powerless to stop his Afghanistan plan for almost half a year!
And Biden had no chance to remove any of the military hardware from Afghanistan during that time...because of Trump.
He's obviously incredibly powerful if he can do all that.
"Please don't vote for candidate X because his supporters are annoying. (and dare I say, Trump-like)"
It pains me to think there are some voters stupid enough to fall for that rhetorical bullshit.
They're using the same strategy in California with the recall race, saying that Larry Elder is "Trump-like."
They completely lack any sort of originality and are apparently so deluded that they believe the rest of the world is similar to the silly echo chambers that they live in. I'm pretty sure that as time goes on that more and more people are realizing that their hate-fantasies have no basis in actual reality. Then again, expecting the press to have any sort of self-awareness is pretty much a running joke at this point.
If there's a little Trump in O'Toole, it's absolutely the most milquetoast, boring and spineless version of Trump I've ever seen. O'Toole's barely a conservative, let alone a populist.
The complaint seems to be that he doesn't hate Canada, its history, or the people involved in its founding enough for the average communist. Is that really all it takes to be Trump-like?
It's not a Conservative movement as much as an anti socialism movement. Dustbin can be seen for what he is a Socialist hiding behind the Liberal name. If the PPC were established the move would not be to O'stool sample and the conservatives but to the PPC.
They can't let the she-covery fail.
Then again, it wouldn't surprise me if the CPC is in on the plan too.

They act like this is a bad thing. I've got plenty of canadians here in Florida who say Trump is their dream candidate.
Man I fucking wish.
