I miss the days when the French would cut the heads off people who pissed them off.
EDIT: Noticed these are German. Conformity has been their thing since they came into existence from the old Principalities. Not much hope of resistance here.
They did try for a revolution in the 1840s, before Deutschland was "Deutschland", and I would argue that Weimar was very much "Reject conformity, embrace degeneracy", but if we're talking generally, culturally..? Yeah, having lived there fairly briefly, yeah, you do have a point, and I see that, ha...
Sadly if anyone was gonna act like this..? Well, the Germans have good practice at it. Though honestly, us down here in Aus almost have them beat, at this point... We've sent in the fucking army on our own civilians, for fuck's sake!
