I see more and more articles like this. If I was the editor of a paper I’d fire every one of these clowns. Similar to the idiots calling classical music racist. I used to follow this one classical music site until they took seriously the white supremacy nonsense
Yeah, but... It's the editors that are the problem, honestly...
They're the ones pushing it, in addition to a few career journalists, academics, career public servants, politicians and, indeed, curators of most online content...
The rot starts from the top, and spreads down to the writers they hire. So... The editors gotta go first (and, in the case of papers like the Guardian, the board...), then the writers, lol.
That's why you'd never be allowed anywhere near an editorial position at a paper.
At the interview you'd be asked your views on "Diversity and Inclusion", and if you don't answer correctly you don't get the job. If you lie your job has specific goals related to those things, and "firing every one of these clowns" would certainly get you yourself fired for failing to meet those goals.
Very true. Even saying you believe in meritocracy is a sin to these people.
