Yeah for sure. I didn't used to think there was much to the whole argument of things normalizing and desensitizing people when I was younger. I've certainly grown into a realization it was quite true.
Although earlier on it was more focused into a blame game, like the argument that violent video games normalize violence. I think those kind of arguments are almost designed as a distraction. It's like how magicians work by drawing your focus to one hand while they manipulate things behind the scenes with the other.
I wasn't necessarily saying that they were the only ones that buy skins, but I think it's fair to say the Fortnite player base is very heavily weighted to those born in the social media generation. They will all want the homo skins to virtue signal because that's what they've been told to do their whole lives.
I personally don't play Fortnite because I have found I hate the battle royale format with a burning passion. If I did, I'm sure I'd buy a few things. Not gay shit. It's probably also fair to assume you aren't planning to get your hands on a $25 homocat skin either.
