I expected to see the whole abuse accusation being something like "verbal abuse because I gained weight" or some sort of crap they came up with. It does actually seem like this woman went through some shit from this guy going back to a young teen and I'm not totally sure I blame her for offing him. I'm not sure this particular story is egregious enough on it's own for me to claim France is about to fall to female supremacy. Presuming it hasn't already fallen of course.
It does seem like there's a part of the story that's not being told though. It sounds like she had tons of opportunities to go a different direction and chose not to.

What if you did believe that she was raped and abused for basically her whole life? Would you then say anything different from what you say now/
