Reason have been ok with twitter banning Trump, they had a segment about how it is bad for conservatives to try to legally restrict the power of tech-media companies.
So is more about making fun of their extreme libertarianism. I like Reason to some extent but they are way to naïve.
It's not that they're naive, it's that here they are complaining about something they'd tell someone else they had no right to complain about. For anyone else they would make the following sort of argument:
Youtube publishes their policies up-front, Reason knew youtube's policies and chose to publish something they must have known might possibly run afoul of them. They also have their own site with video hosting that they can use to host whatever they want free from youtube's policies. Why were they even using youtube, and given they have their own video hosting platform, why do they feel entitled to tell youtube how to run theirs?
At-home biology experimenters (I'd say amateur or hobbyist, but I suspect most are also professional scientists in their day job too) that dodge the approval and ethical committees by secretly doing stuff in their sheds like genetically modifying yeasts and pets, and experimenting with homebrew pharmaceuticals on enthusiast volunteers.
It's wild shit, and yet somehow even they haven't fucked up as big as China and accidentally released a self-made virus into the wild yet.
Ah yes, the mating call of the complete retard.
For those that don't know- Will is mocking Reason.

Sounds like that kid who tampered with nuclear materials in his mom's basement.
I guarentee this guy was perfectly OK with the state forcing that Christian dude to bake a gay cake.
