Reason have been ok with twitter banning Trump, they had a segment about how it is bad for conservatives to try to legally restrict the power of tech-media companies.
So is more about making fun of their extreme libertarianism. I like Reason to some extent but they are way to naïve.
It's not that they're naive, it's that here they are complaining about something they'd tell someone else they had no right to complain about. For anyone else they would make the following sort of argument:
Youtube publishes their policies up-front, Reason knew youtube's policies and chose to publish something they must have known might possibly run afoul of them. They also have their own site with video hosting that they can use to host whatever they want free from youtube's policies. Why were they even using youtube, and given they have their own video hosting platform, why do they feel entitled to tell youtube how to run theirs?
