Men were often the vehicle women used to escape from being under the thumb of other women - women escaped controlling mothers, controlling sisters, and controlling society rules by running off with men who wanted to sleep with them or marry them.
Some women realize the danger to their own freedom in letting the most diabolical and controlling women destroy men and be in charge.

Also German population in 1939 was 86 million people. Do you seriously believe the females outnumberer the males over 3 to 1 before the war?
(And yes, by 1945 they conscripted the teenagers and the grandpas too. And also whoever calculated it underestimated just how many were just taken prisoner.)
