I think we all know Amazon just wants their own Game of Thrones. I fully expect them to shit all over this IP in every way possible.
The Shadow of Mordor games will be more authentic to Tolkien than whatever Amazon puts out.

I feel the same way, the only excitement I have for this series is a morbid desire to see how bad it is. I have a pretty good imagination and enough experience with these recent shows to guess a lot of what's likely, but I'm still consistently surprised by how bad things can be. I just wonder what horrifically morally and ethically wrong choice a protagonist will make that will be portrayed as a good thing to the audience? For Wonder Woman it was rape, Wandavision it was mass mind control, so this will probably be something like advocating genocide.
pummel the ballsack for years how sexiness in fantasy is misogyny. proceed to remove sexiness and uglyfy women across multiple mediums of pop culture.
get an IP where sexiness really doesn't belong and fans don't want it either. an IP where love is approached romantically if not even poetry, and in this IP cram sexiness and nude in it.
