The public health benefits of masking combined with social distancing were striking this past year. U.S. flu deaths, normally in the tens of thousands annually, were significantly lower.
Wonder why that was? Wait we have multiple studies that show masks don’t prevent cold/flu/influenza numbers?
An international study of this would be very enlightening, comparing areas with different social distance guidelines, covid reporting methods, and historical flu numbers.
Won’t happen, the best we can do is the states in America, where by ratio the most egregious lockdowns had more Covid cases per capita and more deaths than non mandatory states. I.E. Michigan vs Florida
“You do get to feel like a ‘Mortal Kombat’ character every day. That’s got to be worth something,” he said.
So that guy's a mega faggot. Noted.
As for wearing a mask while personally sick? It's been done in East Asian countries for ages, and isn't the worst idea.
But, you won't see me wearing a mask in public for any reason -- most places around here have "yOU oNlY nEEd A mAsK iF yOu hAvEn'T gOTten yOUr coOf sHoT" signage, but they aren't / can't ask you for proof. And it has too much association with a period of severe social weakness for me to ever entertain the prospect again.
Also, loving that 39% vaccination statistic. Fucking hilarious that between all their whining, begging, threats, and bribery, that only 2 outta 5 people even bothered to get the jab, and I guarantee most of 'em are in Lefty shitholes.

Right. When you're sick you're actually symptomatic - coughing and sneezing - so the mask catches that. It's just the polite thing to do. If simple cloth masks could stop plagues from spreading, most humans would have been wearing them forever. Over time we tend to figure those things out without studies.
They can wear their stupidity on their face all they want. Just don't ask me do and definitely don't demand I do.
I actually have found it a bit sick how I'm still in the large minority with an open face. I mean c'mon the stores aren't asking for it, the state isn't asking for it, the city isn't asking for it, the clowns in DC aren't. There's nothing left but it being their own choice.
I had someone tell me it was "habit" now. What?! You let it become a habit! I did wear one to avoid harassment at times, but at no point ever was I used to it. Not a minute went by with a mask on I wasn't wanting to rip it off. I thought of a scene from an old Top Gear one time where they were wearing fake mustaches and Clarkson said something like "All I think about with this is I have a mustache, I have a mustache, I have a mustache..." That was me with a mask.
The numbers were down for two reasons, sick people were all counted as covid regardless of whether they were properly tested or not because covid made more money for the people doing the testing/treating. and two, because for the first time in their fucking lives, most people actually obeyed the suggestions on what to do when sick (no doubt because they could afford to stay home, which is the number one recommendation).

It’s because they credited all the flu deaths to the Wuhan flu. Just like a commie, taking credit for someone else’s work.

East Asian countries often do it for pollen/ smog. The amount of overcrowding in cities is massively different also.
Is he volunteering for a fatality?

Virtue signaling their shared mental illness certainly sounds like a health issue to me.
