They did the same for Mother's Day
And can be for people in bereavement, and not just about politics.
I was 12 when my grandmother died, in 1980 - two weeks before Christmas.
I'm still not terribly fond of that song about the grandma who got runned over by a reindeer.
But the best part is you don’t have to listen to it if you don’t want to!
I doubt anyone is. It's just not a very good song.
Nothing wrong with admitting it's triggering even if you can brush it off. That's all the definition of the word used to mean until SJWs appropriated it.
By that logic surely getting the email to opt out is jest as triggering
Same here. On Saturday I happened to be out shopping and saw a cute pink cap that said "Dog Mom" on it. I was never blessed with kids, but I have three yappers who got me through losing my husband and keep me laughing every day, so that cap kinda made me feel like I had something to celebrate the next day. Silly, but why not?
Long as they’re treating them equally and doing the same for both I get the idea behind it and don’t mind it. In fact I could see companies having an email preferences page and a list of holidays they market for and you being able to opt out of any particular one you’d like. Not big into Halloween? Hate Valentine’s Day? Opt out.
Same. I still think people shouldn't be so weak so as to not tolerate the mention in an email newsletter.
It's weak not to be able to deal with Mother's day celebration.
