Oh I know. I think the poster meant Black as in African and that we can't complain because she's half White too, and that somehow entitles her to race swap the role. Personally I wouldn't see it either way, after being disappointed with the last two goes at REH, Solomon Kane and Momoa Conan, I've lost faith.
Why would you think the poster meant black as in african? I actually called her black sonja as well as soon as i saw the hair... as really, that is the only thing I took away from the comics/ 80s movie.

Eh...I’ll believe it when I see it. They’ve been threatening us with a new Red Sonja movie for over a decade now, and one has yet to get out of pre-production. Having said that, this’ll be the one they’ll ram through, on spite alone.
The character is pretty much dead, anyway. Dynamite has run her into the ground with their shitty comics, just as they have with Vampirella. The only good things they’ve done for those two characters is keeping the old stuff in print.
