Why black-wash the original meme when the first one works fine?
The book is actually an old children's book with two white kids (and no knives). The first meme I saw was just the book cover with knives added.
It seems unnecessary to black-wash anything.
Because one is absurdist, and the other is absurd in its literalness?
They were both absurd in their literalness. The left defended children knife-fighting, regardless of race. One person just mentioned that not having knife-fights as children is privileged. There's no non-absurd and non-literal part of that.
