Just stumbled upon someone's old stash. A very prophetic paragraph caught my eye. Apparently it's about a book. Might be worth a read, if just for a perspective from 20 years ago.
Small factoid: The "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy" was a term used by Hillary Clinton in the 90s to impugn anyone who deigned to disagree with her. Identical in meaning and absurdity to her later "Basket of Deplorables." Rush Limbaugh, at the time, made fun of this by selling coffee mugs with the text "Charter Member of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy."

Yeah a lot of these left-wing institutions were against this stuff before they became for it. That's the main reason why I don't listen to people formerly from those institutions telling us how to "fix the problem": you had your chance the first time around and blew it. Why should we listen to you tell us to effectively "go back to 1995 but this time fight it off"?
