Karlyn Borysenko: "Pro-tip, gentlemen: when you cry about how badly men are treated and how put upon your gender is, you look weak and are just giving the woke what they want." (twitter.com)

I haven't changed my mind on playing the victim over the past 6 years. It's pitiful when anyone does it. Particularly when it's supposed men.

Refusing to acknowledge when you are being victimized is playing the victim. Acknowledging that you have been victimized doesn't make you weak.

There is a difference between pointing out unfair treatment and the sort of perpetual victim act that I see from some people. It's the whining, pleading tone that I don't like. That is indeed unmanly, and in fact, appalling behavior for either gender.

I, too, got rapidly annoyed with the r/mensrights crowd, but the alternative is not "man up and shut up".

Man up is always good advice. But whining is never a good thing. Fighting back, yes, whining, no.
