There is a difference between pointing out unfair treatment and the sort of perpetual victim act that I see from some people. It's the whining, pleading tone that I don't like. That is indeed unmanly, and in fact, appalling behavior for either gender.
Refusing to acknowledge when you are being victimized is playing the victim. Acknowledging that you have been victimized doesn't make you weak.

I, too, got rapidly annoyed with the r/mensrights crowd, but the alternative is not "man up and shut up".
Man up is always good advice. But whining is never a good thing. Fighting back, yes, whining, no.
