For the average jew this is of little importance. Most are glorified atheists, which is its own problem. However, the jewish community is itself incredibly insular, nepotistic, and neurotic. It will advance itself while stymieing all others. This is most prevalent and obvious at the elite level where jewish media will freely run cover for other rich and powerful jews as a matter of course.

They're really rare because it's not something you get to through the normal church in the west. Eastern Orthodox comes close but you very rarely interact with them outside of the Russian aligned sites.
I was raised Catholic, became atheistic for a time as I read further and further into religious doctrine, theory, and history, and now I'd say I'm some form of reformist Christian.
As to that first part, it's not unique to Judaism. Circumcision is commonly practiced in both Christian and Islamic areas, and its a problem.
Issue there is that it's biblically prescribed, which is one of the many issues I have with the modern and general Christian sects.
As for the religious jews, like I said I take issue with those who subscribe to the ideological deception present so heavily in modern Judaism. There are those that are just, but the vast majority of those in power are hypocrites and scoundrels.
