I've kept an eye on it, and there is enough interest to keep these going for now. Though, if someone else prefers to do them, feel free.

It is disclosed really, really early on in Nexus that this airship flotilla discovered this Yggdrasil. It grows through the earth, and branches out all over the planet, creating offshoots, but this is the "true" tree, or at least, they think so. Grants wishes, whole shebang. Rather than have a little town explore the tree over generations and slowly make a city, they straight-up hired goons that know about Yggdrasils to tear through the thing. It's not a built-up city, it's a mobile nation floatilla of skyships, unlike all the other games, there is NO history of the labyrinth. They sent out a call to every known Yggdrasil "sprout" location, and all the towns nearby them, explaining their find and their situation.
Highlanders are in Nexus as well, and as you know from EOU1, they're not native to ANY of the cities, there's only one Highlander in all the prior games combined. So we're left to assume that word got out, they needed the BEST of the best, the most seasoned and well-trained, and ensured the message was spread around.
So while I don't know if they specifically ever name-drop EO5, I have a terrible memory, it "makes sense" the general call would reach them, too. Or at least, would reach the places that supply adventurers to them.
And the 2-star is better. 1-star tend to just be utility items, but a 2-star might be some gear a bit earlier than it should be.
Of course it killed the runemaster. Poor runemaster.
4 forge slots is good, if you stack an abnormal status on it its fairly reliable, but it isn't one of those 10-attack-power powerless ones, it can still be used in combat.
Alternatively, not sure if you have the hammer for it, but if you give it 4 TEC, it would make a good bow for the Runemaster, able to attack from range while improving the magic.
