Normally I'm the "they're just jokes" type but this guy was REALLY into it. He didn't just make a few off-colour jokes, he literally participated in a pedo-themed costume parties. That's..a lot.
Crazy Days and Nights has made posts saying that implies he really is into kids. Obv don't know if it was true but that website was talking about how evil Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and Max Landis were for years.
Just shows you he was an ungrateful piece of shit. He gets fired for not stop posting about fucking children and got fired over it. Then everyone was all "you shouldn't fire someone over jokes or what they tweet" and that he wasn't serious blah blah blah.
Not only does he get rewarded by regaining the Guardians of the Galaxy direct job, but he got a job for DC directing The Suicide Squad sequel.
And now he is liking tweets about other people getting cancelled. It's because she was cancelled by his side.
If I was James Gunn, I'd watch what I tweet. You know Gina Carano would have no problem kicking the shit out of him.
Nah, that would imply some level of ignorance. Jimmy is fully aware of the irony and he is probably laughing behind his screen because he knows that having the right politics will get you uncancelled eventually.
I always thought these people purposefully misunderstood things for their political gain, but it seems modern man can always surpass your expectations of stupidity.
