All of us are faced with it.
If you've done it and are happy, say so. If you are planning to do but haven't had the opportunity yet, speak up and share your views.
If you have not, won't, and plan never to get it, also share your thoughts.
.................
I've glanced at several articles (sadly can't remember where) about an Israeli developed nasal spray that seems almost acceptable.
Well, that's the thing, the flu doesn't normally require a doctor's visit in the first place. What fuels the ER overcrowding is mostly the "karens" and hypochondriacs who think that every little thing wrong needs a doctor, and pills, new parents who think every sniffle in the baby needs a doctor, and people who are just looking for attention, or pills.
Flu shots are mostly for people who can't afford to get hit with sick days, or for whom the flu might actually be dangerous. A healthy person doesn't really need them every year.
I know plenty of these people too. Rush to the doctor for every little thing. There's too many people in my family who think they are doctors from the internet too. When the WuFlu went through the family, they were all telling me "you need to take some medicine to get rid of your fever" things like that. I said, nope I'm going to sit here miserable and watch TV and play video games. Guess who got over it the easiest?
I go to the doctor for regular physical checkups and think that's a good idea but outside of something egregious I don't bother. We have an immune system for a reason. Don't think I won't be giving my medication and hand sanitizer family members shit either, since you know my immune system beat the shit out of Covid and theirs didn't fare nearly as well.
Got a fever of 104°? Yeah, get something for that, that's a severe fever. 100°? You're gonna feel pretty shitty but the doctor will just tell you to rest. Might as well save the effort and just lay on the couch with a blanket on.
