Why is everyone involved in nu-Trek a complete fucking cretin? Between this asshole, and Alex Kurtzman, you genuinely couldn't pick worse people for the job. To paraphrase someone else: "nu-Trek is Star Trek made for people that don't like Star Trek, by people that don't understand Star Trek". The sooner all these shows crash and burn the better. Rant over, off to watch some TOS.

Just a reminder that The Animated Series was itself a continuation of TOS, and is still better than modern Trek. So was the old Gold Key comic. (Ah, "The Kelly Green Planet". Also that one where everything was freeze-dried. Pretty scary stuff when you're 6.)
