act.il and similar programs used by ADL and other ngos that already police youtube, facebook etc will just use this and be given priority over unwashed masses. it just gives twitter nice PR about how they are letting people do the work and it isnt them censoring you! its just fact checking by the "community"!
The input from the unwashed masses will be saved in /dev/null.
Whales are not real. They're robots funded by the government to watch us.
Landwhales, on the other hand, do it for free.
Are landwhales real?
They're using sonar to track all of our boats so they can tell where all of those guns got lost.
I guess Nightwatch would have been a little too dystopian, so they went for the next best thing.
Twitter no doubt sees this as a win-win. They get to have all the censorship they want, and can disclaim any responsibility for it.
Sounds like taking the worst parts of reddit moderation and applying it to twatter. The good news, if there is any, is that because so many of us deplorables either got kicked off or left is that they'll only be attacking each other.
This would matter if anyone used Twitter.
As far as I can tell the only difference between this and just... tweeting ... your lame ass “fact check” is that Twitter will decide what is and isn’t seen.
be a internet giga corporation almost to conquer America but fail to understand internet.
this will end in two ways:
who birdwatches the birdwatchmen scenario
or:
OP eat absolutely enormous dicks scenario
