Did some digging and it turns out MLK died 48 years before the iconic red "Make America Great Again" hats were created for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campagin.
Further research shows Trump was 22 at the time of King's death, 13 yrs before he was legally eligible to run for President.

diedwas murderedFact check: "MLK didn't die of natural causes."
False: People are natural.
Tbf the Conservatives had "Make Great Britain great again" as a message in the General Election address speech given by Margaret Thatcher in 1950 so MLK could have given his opinion on the theme in some ways.
End of the first paragraph:

He did say "A riot is the language of the unheard."
What most historians miss quoting is right after he said "unless the riots are in support of an orange man questioning the legitimacy of an election."
..But he was a dirty prevert.
I've been completely sickened by the MLK-posting being done by the filthy normie "Right."
Bingo. The right needs to stop trying to use King as some kind of a gotcha. King was a communist-sponsored agitator, and he only said what he did because during his time, the demoralization of the American public wasn't as thorough as it is today, so he couldn't get away with the shit BLM gets away with now. He only called for nonviolence because if they tried to pull BLM back in the 60s, he'd be hanging from the nearest tree, pronto. If he was alive today, he'd be out there cheering BLM's reign of terror, and organizing friendly DAs to drop all charges.
Also, you can't "gotcha" the left, they don't care, they'll happily call King a house nigger if it suits them.
Ghandi also used "non-violence" in a cynical way, knowing it's the best way for the weak to garner support against the powerful. He would have been more than happy to nuke England if he could've.
Knowing that just makes playing Civ that much more fun.
There were thousands of civil rights workers independent of King. King leaned Left, towards Communism, and so the press loved him and watered him and covered him rapturously.
So, do we suppose this is merely performative that they have to deboonk things that are obviously fake, or do they think the “little people” are really that stupid?
It's to establish "legitimacy" by saying thing the little people can agree with.
State lots of obvious things, obviously and little NPCs will feel they're on the same page and can trust them.
Then they call fake news on something that is true and against their agenda aaaand the NPCs have no reason to distrust their bestest friends.
MLK never wore a Trump hat? Sounds like fascist propaganda but ok
