Antisemitism benefits Israel because a Jewish population that is afraid is likely to run to safety in Israel. A one state solution would not work today because the Arabs would outnumber the Jews. They need more Jews in Israel.
And I assume that the Yom Kippur War also benefited Israel by the same logic.

Antisemitism doesn't benefit Israel, because it means they get targeted, and so do all of their citizens everywhere where antisemitism occurs. Their population is fine, and plenty of Jews already moved to Israel.
Of course, the best demonstration of the stupidity of this argument would be to argue that National Socialism is a Jewish plot because of all of it's antisemitism. I suppose all of /pol/ is working for the Mossad.
