People are reporting (and I can corroborate it) that videos on YT are no longer loading, although the rest of the site seems to be fine. I think we can expect some fuckery, or at least some more suspicious behavior, in the next 24 hours.

That makes the most sense. I've been in the industry a long time, and huge outages like this are almost always caused by someone with zero attention to detail that doesn't know WTF they are doing engineering things. I work with some of these people and have tried to help them to the point that I had to realize I have my own networks to do and can't save them from their problems. It's really just a matter of time before their stuff all blows up in their face.
The problem is it won't blow up in their face, HR will make sure to find a straight white man (or what ever else is the lowest in the current oppression olympics) to blame.
They done plenty of dumb things over the years, and people still choose to use them as their primary/only site to watch videos. It's just so engrained for most people, including myself even if I have tried to use the alternatives more often these past 4-5 years.
Can't really help themselves when the content they're looking for is simply not available on bitchute etc.
Even when a channel decides to switch platforms, their old library still remains on Youtube unless they decide to reupload hundreds or thousands of videos.
