Was browsing something on Reddit, tried upvoting stuff, couldn't. Normally this only happens when the thread is months old/archived and I didn't realize this before trying to upvote/downvote something. Except this was a thread made today.

Most recent comments are very highly upvoted game randomness, so this feels like it's the result of wrongthink for downvoting the "wrong" thing.

Latest AssCreed insanity aside, I get the feeling it's more likely I downvoted something vaguely anti-Trump as that's saturating most busy subreddits this week.
Every attempt is being made to connect any/everything bad with Trump as he "totally just lost you guys" and Reddit being Reddit doesn't want the plebs going against the narrative.
If it's any consolation, I got my first ding against my alt account over there for "hate speech". My crime? Calling Laura Kate Dale a dude that had lopped off his bits and was mentally ill, several months back. Not sure how it took the reporting brigade that long to find the comment. :D

Nah it was made originally as a joke on Saidit when others took similar "of" names as a change from existing Reddit accounts to act as "Dom's Self-Declared Nemesis" which was the flair I got after declaring such.
Also ended up making a new Reddit account with the same name around the time for a change but then went on a 3 month field course, forgot all the login details of the associated email, and had to make a new one, which is what has been suspended.
