The witch-hunters of the 16th and 17th century made a grave mistake in not creating a political movement around it. They were sure to be successful, as they could just brand anyone who wants evidence as a witch. Why would you defend witches, if you are not one yourself? And it's axiomatic that anyone the witch-hunters call a witch, is one, it is their lived experience.
But then again, people in the 16th and 17th century probably had more sense than these radical-leftist drones.
The thing is, the only recourse for witches was to kill them. Usually a few people around them too. That doesn't make for a functioning society when a small town has to murder handfuls of people on the reg. Every set of hands is important.
This new movement is way better, because even after being broken and destroyed most still go to work (usually a more pathetic new job, but still) so they still pay taxes, offer the tithe to the SJ altar, and walk around as a lesson to those who dare think.
Never thought about this. I used to think this incarnation of leftism was doomed because it doesn't systematically kill its enemies, but getting murdered is something people can actually rally around. Simply breaking conservative people doesn't destroy their ideas, but neither does it trigger the violence that is ultimately required to defeat leftism.
