I would argue that being polite and inoffensive isn't even necessarily 'kindness'. There's nothing 'kind' about enabling someone hooked on drugs or any other destructive habit until their addiction finally destroys them & sends them into an early grave, after all. I would categorize the coddling & enabling of people's worst impulses demanded under the name of 'tolerance', 'kindness', 'empathy', etc. by the left as more just 'being nice', in the same sense that white Minnesotan liberals are putting their 'Minnesota nice' on display for all those Somalis screwing their state up.

There's a pretty good collection of 4chan posts that nails the difference from many years ago, and which I think still absolutely applies to this 'Nice Doctrine'.

Of course, salvation is not to be found in the world. Still, impermanence and our own imperfections are no excuse to sit back and make no effort whatsoever to hold back the corruption & degeneracy as much as we're able in what time has been given to us. Sloth's a sin after all, and wiser men than I, from Augustine to Thomas Aquinas, have written at length about healthier forms & functions of worldly government.

History demonstrates otherwise. As I just said, Nicene/Chalcedonian religious orthodoxy was upheld for more than 700 years. For some perspective, this means it lasted for three times the lifespan of the United States as of this year.

If you're looking for some means to permanently and decisively put an end to theological arguments within Christianity forever, I can only recommend waiting for the Second Coming. But as far as actually practical long-term solutions to bridging the gap between different churches and binding them into a united front against common civilization-destroying enemies on multiple fronts go, church councils in the vein of Nicaea and Chalcedon are objectively the best possible option within man's reach and with a record to back it up.

2
willy-willis 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hence the remarks about an American Council of Nicaea immediately below that, to hammer out what does constitute true American Christian beliefs and what deserves to be consigned to the fire. Western and Eastern Christians had pretty significant differences even back then, you know - but even they found enough common ground to build a common front which stood together for a good 700 years (325-1054) against heretics like the Arians and pagan outsiders from the Germanic tribes to Sassanid Persia alike.

Strictly speaking you don't even need to be an outright theocracy, Genoa and Venice prove that Christian republics can work for literally more than a thousand years. Not coincidentally, both Christian republics also played a huge role in anti-(Muslim)Ottoman operations throughout the Mediterranean for centuries, and a Genoese volunteer named Giovanni Giustiniani was the #2 guy among the Christian defenders during the Fall of Constantinople.

Only intra-Christian issue I can think of is that, American Christianity being historically multiconfessional rather than strictly Catholic-dominated (as was the case in Genoa & Venice both) or dominated by a specific Protestant sect, you might have more than a little trouble deducing which church should be the state one. In that regard a republic which enshrines a sort of non-denominational Christianity 'in general' as the state religion, akin to what John B. Anderson once proposed before cucking out massively, might be a better idea than the traditional 'one state, one very specific church' formula.

But in that vein, with all the woke trashfire heresies running around, it'd also be prudent to work toward an ecumenical solution in the vein of a modern Council of Nicaea (acknowledging differences but also common ground between those strains of Christianity that can still be remotely considered legitimate, while proscribing obvious heretics like Episcopalians & forming a common front against them) than refighting ye olde sectarian conflicts. If Austrians and Serbs could set aside their differences to push back against the Turks, there's no reason modern Catholics, Evangelicals, more conservative Lutherans and Presbyterians (like the ones shot up by a pooner two weeks ago) couldn't do the same against the deconstructionists & their pets, Muslims and corrupted '''''churches''''' both, when their backs are against the wall. And that point's already been here for a while.

Above all, I think this episode serves to reinforce the truth that a vacuum exists to be filled: if you remove traditional Christianity, something much worse will inevitably fill the gap. And by extension that the progressive deconstructionists are liars whose babbling about 'equity' and 'empathy' and 'healing' serves only to get people to let their guard down so they themselves can tear off the sheepskin to reveal the ravening wolves underneath, as if we needed more evidence of that.

Tbf, damn near all ancient monarchs of note could be justifiably described as psychopaths. Cleopatra usurped and bumped off two of her teenage brothers (the first one was trying to usurp her before she could do the same to him, the second by all accounts did nothing wrong).

Of her contemporaries, her lover Caesar bragged about genociding a million Gauls and enslaving another million. And Augustus, who brought her down, proscribed over 2000 Roman citizens (including over 100 Senators) in a sanguinary purge & killed thousands more in civil warfare alongside Mark Antony, Cleopatra's other lover, before their alliance broke down and they went to war. As we know, Augustus won and managed to transform his image from that of a blood-soaked dictator into a genteel and genius elder statesman. The other Hellenistic monarchs weren't any better and some were quite a bit worse than Cleopatra.

So yeah, she was probably a power-tripping psycho with a good deal of blood on her hands, but that just puts her in the good company of her neighbors. The same is true of the others. (For example, before we feel too bad for the people Augustus purged, we must remember they were Optimates - basically the Ancient Roman equivalent to our shitty establishment today. And so on, so forth.)

That is certain. I'm in a similar boat myself: if I could, I would certainly love to live in a time where we don't have to obsessively ponder whether X element in Y show is a sop to people who want to use my guts as a skipping rope in-between games of soccer with the heads of my family and friends. The dawning realization since Gamergate kicked off almost 10 years ago that that time is gone, buried and will probably not come back for the rest of my own lifespan, is one of my more personal motives to detest the left and all that they stand for.

Ah well. As a quote from one of my favorite fictional characters from a fairly recent work of fiction goes, "In the best of all possible worlds they would just leave us in peace. But they won't."

I think this is the result of the Overton window having been dragged so far to the left. Almost everything made in the West (and it's leaking into the East too for sure) is either:

  • 'Soft' woke: There's some diversity and girlbossing, but it's fairly understated and isn't being aggressively, radically pushed in your face. It's not sufficiently offensive, nor does it shit on the male leads too hard, that it provokes the ire of more than a minority who will be written off as terminally online reactionaries even by people ostensibly leaning to the right. To use a LOTR comparison, think back to Arwen's expanded role in Fellowship of the Ring, or there being a smattering of black Northman villagers in The Hobbit films.

  • 'Hard' woke: What we're more familiar with and which a lot more people are shitting on & walking away from. To continue the LOTR examples, think about the decision to have Arwen show up to the Battle of Helm's Deep in The Two Towers (later Jackson thought better of it, but there's still a split-second shot of Arwen being at the relief of the besieged Rohirrim that wasn't cut in time) or the entirety of Rings of Power.

It's pretty damn difficult to find fiction of any sort with a consistently competent and respected straight white male lead, traditional gender roles, truly realistic levels of diversity, etc. in this day & age. And since even right-wingers who are at least marginally aware of and playing into the culture war want, nay, need entertainment so they can shut their brains off and pry their eyes away from the man-made horrors beyond our comprehension invading every facet of existence, they will concentrate all their ire against 'hard woke' while making excuses for watching/reading/playing/whatever 'soft woke'.

So now we have even supposedly right-leaning critics like Critical Drinker and Ryan Kinel making excuses for stuff like last year's Prey, or this. For my own part, I'm content to stick to untainted classics (like say, the physical copies of the LOTR trilogy and the Silmarillion which I picked up in a garage sale) for my entertainment, because that's really the only way you can avoid wokedom's ever-present tendrils across modern entertainment.

I actually don't disagree with you in principle. However I am of the position that as long as even the barest vestige of electoralism holds up and the Boog hasn't kicked off, optics remains a consideration, since without it we have no way of dragging anyone rightward (clearly still possible to some extent if Virginia could be flipped two years ago) or using the process to grab & hold as much power as possible on the local & state levels, which will be important to any future confrontation (aside from obvious examples like DeSantis or other blood-red state governors, John Gibbs for example gained power locally and is working to turn his Michigan town into a right-wing bastion). Even Literally Hitler and the Nazis had to play within those confines in Weimar.

At the very least we should be avoiding unforced errors that essentially do the enemy's work for them and which bring us no gain. Which is what happened here, the TN GOP didn't meaningfully alter the legislative balance of power (because it was decisively in their favor already) and now press/leftist accusations of waycism will have a little more bite to them. Doesn't even hammer the 'behave yourselves' message home because, of course, one of the guilty parties wasn't punished despite obviously deserving it.

18
willy-willis 18 points ago +18 / -0

This, getting rid of all three would have been the best way to send the intended message without creating additional PR problems for themselves. Not that the media wouldn't manufacture some controversy even if they had nothing to work with, but now they unfortunately do.

The state Republicans already had a crushing 75-24 majority so it's not even like kicking all three Democrats would've altered the balance of power in any meaningful way, this was all about (well deserved) punishment. And in that regard expelling the black Democrats but not the one white woman for the exact same reason both makes it too easy for the enemy to play the racism card (as they're doing now) and reeks of the pussy pass working its magic on some especially retarded Republicans.

Real men mowing down a fake man engaged in one of the most stereotypically 'toxically masculine' acts (harming & murdering the weak & defenseless, in this case innocent children) imaginable. Why it's pure pottery.

46
willy-willis 46 points ago +47 / -1

It was heartbreaking to see the cops run past a dead child at about the 5 minute mark. Frankly, censored or not, it was harder to watch than some cartel execution videos.

Notably the shooter went for her gun again even after being wounded & knocked to the ground by the first cop's (Rex Englebert) opening volley, before the second cop (Michael Collazo) finished her with several more shots. I can only hope her final moments were spent in fear and excruciating pain.

The modern-day demonslayers who did pretty much the exact opposite of the Uvalde PD and mowed this evil fuck down. I will have to disagree with the original poster's message, I don't doubt the heroism of these two for removing Audrey Hale from the Earth before she could murder more children and they're absolutely worth celebrating, but her name and what she did should always be shouted from the rooftops every time a tranny complains about any measure to restrict their access to children or to civilization generally.

The trannies must never, ever be allowed to live this down, for this atrocity encapsulates all the evils we know to be associated with them: a psychotic hatred for 'the enemy' (Christian civilization generally, and concepts like childhood innocence specifically), harming children, and blowing so much smoke up their own asses about a(n unfortunately) fictional trans genocide which serves to further justify their murderous fantasies about the 'fascist Christian nationalists' - until of course someone finally acted on said fantasies.

THIS is the true face of the troon and it should be pointed out at every opportunity, especially as the more intelligent of that ilk are trying to distance themselves from this tragedy and to deflect to gun control or 'well this wouldn't have happened if Tennessee hadn't just passed oppressive legislation!' instead.

TTD.

26
willy-willis 26 points ago +26 / -0

I'm seeing the leftards switching their messaging right now from blaming guns & demanding a gun grab to a mix of 'not all trannies' and 'well, it's only right for the trannies to flip their shit after Tennessee made moves to outlaw troonery!'

Troons won't be lynched in pogroms across the country in the wake of this atrocity, but they should be. Every time you see a 'Respect Trans Rights, or Else' sign, remember that this is the 'Or Else': if they can't turn your kids trans, they'll gladly murder said children themselves while their friends run cover or try to blame YOU for making them do it.

Three kids murdered, nine year olds, in addition to three adults. The amount of loathing I hold in my heart for trannies is...I am legitimately struggling to find the words in any human language to describe it now. At least the cops put down the creature responsible so her victims' families won't have to contribute a cent in taxes to keeping her vile hide alive, I'd start typing up the sorts of creative execution methods she deserves even more than that but there's no point since society isn't ready to even countenance them right now.

Well, abusers do tend to be cripplingly weak, hollow and insecure people. What's more is that they know deep down, no matter whatever illusions they project outward, that they are and forever will be pieces of shit in human skin. And that drives them insane, pushing them to hurt the ones they supposedly love over and over again, in an endless chase for the validation and feeling of superiority that keeps that knowledge of their own true inferiority at bay. Actually strong men and women do not need to abuse the people they claim to love or are at least friends with, either to get what they want out of the latter or just to feel big - you don't see, say, Teddy Roosevelt having to habitually beat his wife to feel like a man.

So yeah, I really can't think of a more fitting analogy for the alphabet soup in general than the archetypal domestic abuser. Take away all the frills, all the propaganda, and what are they at their core?

  • An infinitesmal minority of genetic dead ends, so twisted and degenerate that they knowingly perpetuate their own genetic-dead-endedness;

  • Whose mockery of the procreative process requires them to steal the children of others, making those kids into equally miserable, diseased and mutilated dead ends who will perpetuate the cycle;

  • Who for all their boasts of being 'beautiful and proud and strong', respond to someone not sufficiently validating them & kissing their ass by throwing tantrums that would make a toddler cringe in shame (like Ryan Short did in this article, or how Dylan Mulvaney so didn't give a damn about what Matt Walsh & the Daily Wire says about him that he had to play their comments in his one-year anniversary of 'girlhood' and respond to it with a song number);

  • And who, as you note, ultimately rely on the brute force of government institutions & courts they've infiltrated to get their way, because not even in their supposed home bastions could they persuade anyone to give them what they want the conventional way. (Witness California voting down gay marriage every time it made the ballot and ultimately having to have it be forced upon them by judicial fiat, for example.)

Ah well, how's that old song about domestic abusers from like 20 years ago go? 'A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect, every action in this world bears a consequence.' And goodness me oh my, the LGBTP+ mob has been chucking boulders into the sea for 60 years in their pursuit of 'queerness'. I can only hope they get washed away by the tsunami they've earned sometime this century.

It's abuse. They are abusing, manipulating and gaslighting the people in their lives, and everyone unfortunate enough to be exposed to them, constantly.

Nailed it in one. It's clear to me that the entire alphabet lobby operates, and has operated for years, on weaponizing the tactics of an especially hysterical domestic abuser and applying said tactics onto a societal level to get what they want. The T are the worst and most blatant about it nowadays, but the rest have been at it too (gays & lesbians just learned to behave a bit in public back in the 90s, at least until they got what they wanted, and to cut ties with NAMBLA & others of their kind who couldn't exercise even this basic discipline & knowledge of PR).

Suicide-baiting. Gaslighting, in the original and legitimate sense of the word, and rewriting history in general to serve their narrative (the G have basically gaslit most people into thinking Matthew Shepard was killed for being gay rather than in a drug deal gone wrong, for instance). Playing the victim and relentless guilt-tripping. And as we can see here, shaming and isolating kin who won't play along.

They do it all and like any abuser, they won't stop until and unless people start putting their foot down and make them stop. Whether it ranges from refusing to bow to their emotional blackmail and going, 'No you know what? Go do a flip then/Go cut me off then, I'll be happier without your dumb ass in my life' (something the father in this story has unfortunately failed to do, per the ending) or finally getting a physical backlash going and Minecrafting these abusive scumfucks.

willy-willis 11 points ago +11 / -0

At this point I think the Mudslimes would be an improvement over the alphabet soup, and the state of the modern Republican Party too while they're at it. The father caved to his piece of shit brat's histrionic demands.

The Business Insider reported that Short's father decided to leave his local Republican club on Thursday.

At least an Islamic father would have done the right thing, and taken out the self-proclaimed 'hot dumb slut' trash he spawned by way of an impromptu skydiving lesson from the nearest rooftop with no parachute.

10
willy-willis 10 points ago +10 / -0

If only. Unfortunately it seems the father caved to this piece of shit.

The Business Insider reported that Short's father decided to leave his local Republican club on Thursday.

Roman Consuls used to kill their own sons for immorality, indiscipline, treason and other offenses, striking a fearsome example that inspired other Roman fathers to order their households with the same discipline & severity which produced the citizen-soldiers who conquered the Mediterranean - and kept boys inclined toward unruliness & degeneracy firmly in line.

Modern society ought to learn from their example as well, and even if it doesn't escalate to the point of throwing your gay son off a rooftop for bringing such shame to you & your family in such a public manner, resolve to grow a backbone and respond to such histrionic demands by calling him a faggot.

In ancient times China had a hundred schools of thought. After the Qin dynasty united the place & formed the first Chinese empire, they carried out a pro-gamer move called the 'burning of books and burying of scholars', and as a result we know the names of only 12 of the 100 today. Of those 12, only 3 - Confucianism, Legalism and Taoism - had any relevance whatsoever in the succeeding centuries.

Ideas can in fact be killed, you just have to start by obliterating all the degenerate academics propagating them (something well understood by even Iron Age Chinese dudes whose fastest method of communication was horse travel & who didn't have anything resembling the Internet), and Marxism's death sentence & damnatio memoriae is welllll overdue.

First thing that comes to my mind is this 2nd century mosaic of a Galilean from Sepphoris, Mary's hometown. Not exactly white as the driven snow (especially unlikely in Jesus' case, considering he worked as a carpenter and wouldn't have gotten to lounge around indoors like some pampered aristocrat) but not a dark as a Bedouin from the Nejdi desert, much less an actual black guy either.

10
willy-willis 10 points ago +10 / -0

The entire troon activism push that's been going on for the past 7-8 years is nothing short of the weaponization of domestic abuser tactics on a society-wide level by degenerates hoping to browbeat everyone into accepting their latest fetish. Suicide baiting, gaslighting, over-the-top death & rape threats, attempts at isolating people from their support networks to make them more vulnerable to troon assault squads, actual assaults & murders & efforts to drive people to suicide IRL, all the works.

But I do try to remain optimistic even in these grim times, so to paraphrase some of the lyrics to a song about domestic abuse I heard in my teens - one day Clown World's got to end, and as their bullshit crumbles down, a new life we'll have found; face down in the filth, society will finally say 'This doesn't hurt, I finally had enough'. And that's when there'll be hell to pay for everyone involved, from the likes of the Pritzker clan on down to the anonymous tranny thugs who harassed Pikamee over this past month.

The (rightfully) angry ex-boyfriend of a whore ''''''game dev'''''' making a blog post set Gamergate in motion, it'd only be fitting(ly ridiculous) if an anime girl getting bullied off the Internet for wanting to play Hogwarts Legacy and a horde of her enraged fans consequently ripping & tearing their way through troon guts is what clears the path to the portal out of Clown World.

18
willy-willis 18 points ago +18 / -0

Considering her record I think she'd more likely sing a song shitting on them in increasingly obvious ways, she's released three such songs already and the latest one explicitly names the 'woke' in its lyrics.

While standing up to the troon hate brigade doesn't guarantee getting them to fuck off - Silvervale publicly defied them and they got so assmad about it that they tried faking a suicide to blame on her over the weekend - it does help more often than not, as does Cover Corp (Hololive's owner and thus by extension Calli's employer) declaring they'll send lawyers after anyone who harasses their employees. Unfortunately Pikamee was too nice and non-confrontational for her own good, something these sadistic bullies took full advantage of. But at least she'll be avenged soon enough if the frothing mob they've enraged with their actions across multiple social media platforms is any indicator.
