It absolutely wasn’t.

In fact, towards the end, after NLU, he straight up says “the Revolution will be televised, y’all just chose the wrong guy”.

All of us on this site disagrees, and most of the halftime show made sense to me after watching it a second time on YouTube, but the message he’s trying to send is very much a leftist one

The problem is that Drake is Canada’s Diddy, aka he has a lot of people on the take.

There’s way more evidence for that accusation than against, it’s just that actually getting action done is going to take forever

The studio versions of the songs (aka what you listen to on YouTube/Spotify/DSPs) isn’t mumble rap at all, it’s the live mixing that was awful. Not really gonna bother giving the message of the visuals because a lot of what the visuals and Samuel L Jackson as Uncle Sam are for flies over people’s heads, but one thing I will say is that because of how bad the game was in terms of it being a blowout, more people watched the halftime show than the second half

That’s because 50 Shades is literally just a Twilight fanfic that had the character names swapped because Stephanie Meyer had a fit

And the Chiefs are getting blown out right now, but it could end up like 28-3

That’s non-military I assume, or is that including the military?

It’s not two. In terms of the 538 members of congress, it’s more like 30 percent are members of the Triple Parentheses Gang

The Beatles

Quality? Probably.

Numbers, hell no.

The Beatles were the most recognizable group in the world, only were actually a thing for 7 years and during said run, sold over one billion records during a time the world had half the population it does now.

James Naismith, the inventor of basketball is actually Canadian, but to speak on the Raptors, Toronto is the third largest market in North America, after NYC and LA

Toronto is the only Canadian team, so they play both O Canada and the Star-Spangled Banner before games because all the other teams are US based

Their GM, Nico Harrison held a press conference before their game today, and apparently Luka's out of shape and a bit of a dickhead. Still doesn't mean you don't try to fleece the living hell out of the Lakers.

Nico Harrison is however the same former Nike employee who mispronounced Steph Curry's name, reused the same presentation he used with Kevin Durant, and turned Curry off of Nike to where Curry is now an Under Armour athlete. Generational fumble, but good shit to the Lakers for not letting Harrison get more from them

By pennies, I'm referring to the fact that the Lakers didn't have to trade all their picks + Reaves and/or Knecht + more for it as well

I did and I loved it. I've already been talking to people predicting the WM card since this, but I do love that they actually made Jey the main event

The Memphis Grizzlies were originally the Vancouver Grizzlies and moved because of owner bullshit, it’s one of the largest markets in Canada

6
redman012 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yeah, this is really confusing. The rumor for ages was that the expansion was going to give Seattle the Sonics back (the only reason the Sonics moved and became the Thunder is because the owner at the time, Clay Bennett, was from OKC and was lying to Seattle about staying) and expanding to Vegas. Dallas is a top 10 market by population and economy, so I'm genuinely curious what the fuck the thinking is for trading Luka, unless it's to do what John Fisher did with the Oakland A's.

Specifically on the Holocaust stuff, mostly because I’ve honestly been looking that stuff up for shits and giggles recently:

The Rwandan genocide of Tutsi people lasted for 100 days and killed at the lowest estimates half a million people with machetes, blunt force trauma and shootings, and the sheer amount of human skulls piled up across various areas, the mass graves and more do show that at the very least, that happened. In addition to the killings, the Hutu forces intentionally made ‘rape squads’ of HIV positive men and had them rape Tutsi women.

The Cambodian genocide of dissidents killed around one and a half million people at the lowest estimates, and exclusively happened via blunt force trauma because Pol Pot thought that bullets were too expensive, and happened over the course of four years.

Zyklon B (the actual gas alleged to be used in the concentration camps) kills within minutes and has been used to kill people since. In addition to the gas and guns, during the search of the camps, ‘gas wagons’ were found where a vehicle’s exhaust would be redirected to a purpose built part of the vehicle so the people in that compartment would die of carbon monoxide poisoning.

With the sheer capabilities of other genocides that weren’t the Holocaust, I don’t find it hard to believe the numbers, or at least the fact that the ovens existed because of the sheer amount of bodies created by the Holocaust.

Should it be used the way it is today as a weapon against non-Jews? Fuck no.

The Buffy musical episode, music, lyrics, and all, was written by one guy with no musical training over a handful of months. Yeah, it's Joss Whedon, and people copying him has been part of what makes entertainment shit today, but there's no denying the guy has been an absolute genius at times.

My main gripe with Whedon isn't even that, no matter how bad the jokes have been, it's that every single major female character in Buffy and Angel have the same bodytype because it's his kink

IIRC, specifically in things like enhancing graphics, it's actually useful, the LLM stuff is awful and while the generative content ala text and voices is much more viable, the voices specifically have come under fire, hence the English VA strike
