Highlander III isn't bad although nothing to write home about, Endgame is alright.

Oh, this must take the cake for worst sequel ever. Although to be fair none of the Highlander movies save the original are exactly good. Loved the TV show so I liked Endgame, 3 wasn't terrible and The Source was almost as bad as 2.

This is going to sound gay but Princess Diaries 2. The original was a pretty good film (don't @ me) but the sequel was dogshit. I consider Ella Enchanted to be the true sequel.

Now if you excuse me, I see a lovely penis I must put into my anus.

We pay >$1.5b/yr in taxes for it and hockey is legally our national sport. The idea we couldn't see the semi-finals featuring a Canadian team on free TV, especially since we got to see the 2 American teams in the other conference, is insane.

Even more insane that they skipped it to air the Canadian Screen Awards (that nobody cares about, there hasn't been a decent Canadian movie since Passchendaele in 2008), Just for Laughs (which airs about 200 other times on CBC), and Canada’s Ultimate Challenge which is apparently some Amazing Race knockoff.

The CBC gets $1.5b from Trudeau every year regardless of how well it does, they recently begged for and got more from Blackface. If they had shows worth watching, promoting them during the game could benefit them more than a Just for Laughs rerun.

And have to reschedule the Canadian Screen Awards?? What about all the dozen of fans excited to watch the latest episode of Canada’s Ultimate Challenge?

YesMovement 15 points ago +15 / -0

Despite being allowed to air them, they left them only airing on the pay cable channel.

Instead they aired some reality show shit literally nobody cares about.

It very much is like stealing. It's one thing to share a password for the people in your household, but to buy a personal sub as a business/government and share with almost a dozen coworkers is something else.

And I guarantee you this judge wouldn't have done this "WTF even is a 'password' anyways? What constitutes ‘distribution’ or ‘share’?" if this was Netflix or Disney suing you.

So posting a link to a publicly available news article on social media is "stealing" but sharing the password for a pay site (directly violating the site's TOS) is not stealing??

This is almost as weird as meth being legal but raw milk being outlawed.

Calgary Zoo made their post with comments disabled too. A Dallas TX events Instagram page has been deleting tons of comments for "hate".

No, they incinerated the bodies then disturbed a bunch of land- predicting that decades later there'd be a technology to detect that but not advanced enough to differentiate between gardening and dead bodies.

Crafty white devils...

Plus a lot of modders are making HD content packs for classic games.

I don't know, I literally was playing the original on Dolphin emulator less than a year ago. Great game, never had an issue with the graphics.

Gamecube ain't that old, played Mario Kart Double Dash, Luigi's Mansion & Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. All looked fine.

It's really only 8-bit and early N64/PS1 3-D shit that doesn't age very well.

And they're remaking games that still look good graphically. Why not remake the original Legend of Zelda (along with 2, LttP and some of the Gameboy ones)? Or do a proper HD remake of Ocarina, widely considered the best of all time?

If you're remastering Mario, why not Mario 64?

Just play the original unmodded, it's not like the graphics are very dated.

The fact only some of the parents suing Activision are also suing the cops who stood by and let their kids be murdered virtually right in front of them tells me all I need to know.

They also filed another lawsuit against Daniel Defense, which manufactured the AR-style rifle used in the May 24, 2022, shooting — and has already been sued.

The gunman killed 19 teachers and two teachers officers finally confronted and shot him after waiting more than an hour to enter the fourth-grade classroom.

Nice grammar there, professional news outlet.

“There is a direct line between the conduct of these companies and the Uvalde shooting,” said Josh Koskoff, an attorney for the families. “This three-headed monster knowingly exposed him to the weapon, conditioned him to see it as a tool to solve his problems and trained him to use it.”

I must have missed that mission in CoD

Some of the same families on Wednesday filed a $500 million lawsuit against Texas state police officials and officers who were part of the botched law enforcement response that day. More than 370 federal, state and local officers responded but waited more than an hour to confront the shooter inside the classroom as students and teaches lay dead, dying or wounded.

SOME? So not all?? So some parents think Meta and Activision are definitely responsible but the cops with guns who were physically right there and did nothing weren't?

According to the lawsuits, the Uvalde shooter had played versions of “Call of Duty” since he was 15, including one that allowed him to effectively practice with the version of the rifle he used at the school.

The parents should be forced to test their shooting at a range, then play 20 hrs of CoD then go back and test again to see how much they improved.

“Simultaneously, on Instagram, the shooter was being courted through explicit, aggressive marketing. In addition to hundreds of images depicting and venerating the thrill of combat, Daniel Defense used Instagram to extol the illegal, murderous use of its weapons,”

Ok. show that ad then. Let's see it...

It's not just the dog, that's actually the smallest part of this- it's the kind of person who would do that sort of thing. About as big of a red flag as you'll ever find- unless you're deathly allergic or the animal is outright dangerous, who on earth would even suggest getting rid of a pet than a sociopath?

I say you haven't and neither have I, as we're both law-abiding good citizens with all 20 of our covid shots.

My high seas had them a month later.
