Yes, I am. I'm doing a comprehensive first read through with a lot of research and connecting dots within scripture.

So you're not familiar with the Bible, at all. A couple points:

1. there is no book of revelations. All of it is one revelation. OF Jesus Christ, Himself. That it happens to have been given first to John is less important, but that is part of the formal title. This same John is known as John the Beloved, because that's how he's referred to in the Gospel of John. (The Disciple whom Jesus Loved. Jesus made everybody feel not merely loved, but loved exclusively. And He still does. Christians notoriously behave poorly because of this, especially when new to the Faith.) John is also known as John the Theologian, because his theology is always excellent. So if you're ever torn or confused in a Gospel, find what John says about it. "When in doubt, go with John." This isn't a final end point, but it can help when needed. He's also known as John the Revelator, for the obvious reason of writing Revelation; that's the only book in the NT there was ever any controversy about including as Canon. I'm glad the early Church decided to preserve it and hand it down to us, but it's not a good source of theology very often. Conversely, there are a HUGE number of OT references in it that the book can't much be understood until you understand those first. Which is ok, everybody misses a lot on the first read through. No shame in that:

"But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." (1 Peter 5:10)

That is invariably part of the process of becoming rooted and grounded in the Word, which will be the most rewarding thing you ever do.

Go reread all of Paul's letters to the early Christian churches, and the book of Acts.

You assume Jews are a monolithic block, nothing else will fit into your thinking, when "3 Jews 4 opinions" is much closer to reality. Jews are far more splintered in their thinking and beliefs than Protestants, and most don't ascribe to what you've said here at all. Yet you can't fathom even this much.

The overwhelming majority of US jews have no use for the talmud, at all:

1. the biggest group is atheists (profess to be "of no religion," a very jewy way of saying the same thing) Well over 35% and the fastest growing group

2. reform. They disavowed the talmud in the 1800s and never looked back. Approaching 35% of all US Jews and the second fastest growing group.

Together this is about 70% of US jews. This proves you completely wrong in your thinking, and apparently this has consumed your whole world view.

3. conservative. Less than 15%. Even these don't regard what the talmud says nearly as much as you do. They're taught to follow their individual rabbi, who might or might not draw on their own knowledge of the talmud while addressing any specific concern. The individual conservative jew might never know or care if any detail came from the talmud or not, but the portions of it you perseverate over are almost guaranteed to never be taught, read, or even thought about much less mentioned.

4. orthodox are similar but they're more likely to devote some time to reading select parts of the talmud, at their rabbi's direction. This is the smallest group.

Hasidic are so whack they shouldn't even be called jews. They're trying to make themselves acceptable to the mainstream by positioning themselves as educators (but just of jews, of course) These are dangerous ideologically but usually poor. These are the nutjobs who dug the tunnel in NYC.

Yet you still think jews are a monolithic block, who's focus is on Jesus. jews mostly don't think about Jesus at all. It's easy to say that Christian's biggest problem is not focusing on Jesus enough.

Since you've invested so heavily into the talmud, you owe it to yourself to learn that it's about how to be a Jew while there's no Temple. Some 40% of the law of Moses can't be kept without it. jews don't consider it holy like you do, they recognize it's just rabbis arguing and mostly about arcane bits of law that Moses didn't make clear. I'll tell you it's horrible literature that does a terrible job of what it sets out to do, but you don't understand what that is based on what you've said here.

Btw I know this because where I grew up, my junior high was 98% Christian and HS also included another junior high that was 98% jewish. About 2200 kids per grade. Best math teacher mentioned CE the first time I ever heard the term, calling it "common error." Hated his guts for that ever since, learned not to do business with jews in my own business.
