Honestly I liked it, especially whatever extended cut. It took the series back to its survival horror roots. Aliens [Alien 2] was good, but it was an action movie, not a survival horror. I liked that the alien in 3 was a quadruped, and was fast, it was more terrifying than a guy in a rubber suit, like a ferocious wild animal. If only CGI at the time was better, that was the only campy thing about it.
