There is a push to remove the power Bob Iger has had over Disney. This article also mentions that most of the big choices were actually made by Steve Jobs, not Iger.
There is a hard push by Disney to keep its power the way it is. They have websites and a social media blast to support it. This website represents it all

Disney has dropped and asked to settle any lawsuit between themselves and Florida or Governor DeSantis. The article calls it a Spat.
There's two types. One is really fun and is soccer with basketball. The other looks the same but is so overly pedantic if a man dressed as a bee walked onto the field and started yodeling, I would assume it was in the rulebook.

Strategy games are fun, but they're good for an obsessive week, and then nothing. You pick it up a year later and have another week of fun and then give it up.
I think that's why I don't play Skyrim. It's going to take longer than a week. I can do that with Minecraft, but Skyrim has way too many threads.
Yeah, the marvel game looks sad. I remember the team based exploration games of the 00's and wish we could have another.
Last months list had a few beat em ups. Also, Streets of Rage is getting a sequel and remake.
The Metroidvania caveman game does look good. A good part of the genre is a horror element, and this one seems to have it with dinosaurs.

I agree about the ESG at Nintendo. If they can make it through this it will be their 2nd or 3rd console apocalypse. The HD apocalypse was powerful but mostly swept under the rug back in the day.
That was some fun history reading that. They still used those terms in the 80's and 90's. But that was 30 years ago. I feel old.

The new 3D Kirby is a joy. It's on the east side, but the level design and story through that design is wonderful.
I'm not saying they don't deserve this, I am saying we should be scared. Videogames are entertainment and technology, which is a great predictor for the rest of the world a few years later. We can see Gamergate and the responses to it, and the ultimate destruction caused by the attempt to stay in power. Now imagine that world wide.
An entire contraction of every culture and trade. The last time this happened was about 600 years ago. Almost every culture broke down and stopped trading until a new group dominated them. We are demanding a contraction because we think it works in our favor. If trade contracts, so does everything else.
I say we be like the European explorers who saw the contraction and tried to open things up on their own. Those same explorers dealt with people demanding contraction all the time. It was just as internal as it was external. It also meant dealing with crooks and pirates who would help at a price. Sorry, brain went into history mode, I won't write another paragraph.
I will say that those who seek blessings bring rain to both them and their evil neighbors. We shouldn't wish drought on one and rain on us. Lots wife was like that, and she got pretty salty about it.
Something I've noticed is that when a company gets too big and noticeable, they suddenly don't make the sales they had the previous time. This is nothing to the HD demand where a game that sold 2 million needed to sell 15 million to break even.
Sort of like how Team fortress 2 or Counter Strike got updates, but not new additions unless it was a new engine?

The games all link up to controllers via Bluetooth. The SotN version on Android is awesome that way. Also, most phones are powerful enough to play GTA5 or Skyrim now. Heck, I have a Bloodstained port on my phone.
I think Android is doing that already. The problem is when I want to dock my phone to a TV. I want it to do the things a Switch does, but it doesn't. Mouse and keyboard are weird and it doesn't turn off it's screen when docked. I want to play Symphony of the Night off my phone on my TV and the lag is terrible.
That was the 1 in 6 and the 1 in 30 test. Both were way too much, but the testers got even more brazen.
MAID in Manhattan remake is off to a good start.
