From the other forums, it seems that she'd had left shortly after the whole Mitsoda thing. But Hardsuit labs didn't say anything and tried to keep it as hush hush as possible.
If not for the fans noticing that she wasn't listing her affiliation with the game anymore. This news would never have become public.
The game is gonna be an amazing shit show. I can't wait to pirate it.

I think the company is going to go through a "restructuring" period "due to the Wang Flu" and shelf the game permenantly.
Not without refunding preorders they've been taking for two years.
Paradox would rather keep the money and release a busted game. Which, considering the title, is rather poetic.
