How poetic it would be to allow the first woman president a chance to replace a woman justice! Lazy, because Obama couldn't be bothered to go through the political effort to fill all those federal judicial vacancies, since that would mean finding compromise with the republican senate.
Serves them right. They deserve everything they're getting, and their reflex to change the rules in response to difficulty is all too typical.
