A good amount of them probably do want to kill him. The worrying thing about the left is that they've done what everyone has done during wartime. They reduce 'the enemy' to being less than human. They don't see you as being normal people, with families, pets, dreams and jobs. They just see you as a non-human enemy that they've told themselves, wants to kill them. And a good amount of them genuinely seem to believe it.
While 'the right' has retained it's sanity, the left or who remains on the left, has completely lost it. While we still view them as humans, albeit misguided and dumb humans, we don't want to kill them. They don't afford us the same treatment though, and as we've seen, they're willing to hunt us down and murder us because we're just 'the bad guys'. This line of brainwashing allows them to kill you without guilt, remorse or even consequence, because they don't even see you as an equal or a human. You're an enemy that needs to be destroyed because the fact you exist is threatening to them.
It’s been years since I’ve taken accusations of racism or sexism (or whatever) seriously, but I sometimes forget that it doesn’t really matter whether or not I believe those lies. Tens of millions of people do, and they think they are legitimately in a fight for their lives versus actual white supremacist neo-nazis. My skepticism isn’t going to stop them from caving in my skull. That’s why I think we’re headed for dark times no matter what conservatives do. Leftists have set their minds to war. Our options are surrender to them or fight them.
Unfortunately, you have actors like CNN representing stories like that of Kyle Rittenhouse as more akin to what Michael Reinoehl did.
People listening to mainstream media will be hearing and seeing right-wing death squads and brave antifa members being assaulted by the Police as they attempt to defend themselves.
Trump will almost certainly "win" election night. Which will result in extreme left members of Antifa and other organizations to attack "Trump voters". While talking about the election not being over because mail in votes aren't in. But that spike in violence will destroy the support for counting mail in votes.
