It's good to be optimistic at these dire times, but do not forget to be realistic at the same time. The voice of the "silent majority" will not matter if it does not translate into votes. Polls don't matter, the ballots are. Let's see if your Hail Mary known as the "silent majority" will deliver in the 2020 US Elections. Good luck, or if you get fucked, the whole world is FUCKED.

Hey, I hope you're right, but as I say I'll be surprised, It'd be a nice surprise but still...
I'm sure you do know the ground better than I do. And I'm curious, do you think the Dems in Wisconsin, or any of the riot hit states, will lose any of their city strongholds? Or will whatever swing there is be relegated to the suburbs?
There are essentially four metros in the area.
Minneapolis-St Paul, Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay-Oshkosh.
Madison is about as far left as the People's Republic of Johnson County. The entire metro are all leftist koolaid drinkers.
Milwaukee... has probably the darkest history of institutionalized racism in the US since WWII. It was ground zero of redlining, and was one of the first cities to be blasted with massive job losses (particularly among blacks) in the post Bretton Woods world, as early as the late 50's. The people in Milwaukee have genuine reason to be angry because they've been stabbed in the back by this country for 60 years. I don't think they're going to stop being angry and voting democratic anytime soon. However, the Milwaukee suburbs will flip because of the violence.
Minneapolis doesn't actually have the large poor black population of Milwaukee. Instead they have the same problem as Madison, they're all psychotic leftists. But the suburbs are huge and more importantly the suburbs of Minneapolis are very, very rich. Fear will drive them rightwards.
The Green Bay - Oshkosh corridor is decidedly more blue collar working whites, that territory already went Trump and will go further.
Very interesting, thank you.
