It's good to be optimistic at these dire times, but do not forget to be realistic at the same time. The voice of the "silent majority" will not matter if it does not translate into votes. Polls don't matter, the ballots are. Let's see if your Hail Mary known as the "silent majority" will deliver in the 2020 US Elections. Good luck, or if you get fucked, the whole world is FUCKED.

The polls haven't fixed themselves. Pew was lamenting it in industry research papers as recently as last year.
The democrats have absolutely no idea what is about to hit them. Frankly I think Colorado is in play and I believe Minnesota will flip.
Did you factor in vote rigging (TX, OH, FL, PA) and a 10% swing in the white female vote?
Okay if you want to be taken seriously you need to not start with that.
The place most riddled with illegals and the hotbed of Cali immigration isn't as safe as they all wish it was.
A surprising number of those Cali expats in Texas are actually conservatives fleeing their home state's liberals going completely insane though, they crucially helped push Cruz over the top against O'Rourke back in 2018.
My guess is that Texas will stay safely in the Republican column this November. It'll probably go blue sometime in the future unless something drastically changes its current demographic trajectory, as you suggest, but not now.
They weren't that far off winning it in 2018.
Their focus will be on flipping it to deny any hope of a Trump victory.
The fuck are you smoking? It was 52% to 45%.
Texas isn't flipping.
I'll believe it when I see it. My capacity to expect liberals to not vote Dem is about zero at this point.
If I was betting, I'd bet there is a noticeable but not immediately significant swing to red. I'll be flat-out amazed if any blue states actually flip.
Isn't Colorado one of the states the California emigrates have been flocking to? If so, I don't think that bodes well.
Its in the New York problem where a single city (Denver) is overrun with Cali flockers, and they basically overwhelm the entire rest of the state. It has a few offshoots in Aspen as well but nothing much. So its incredibly likely to go blue simply because their base is very more charged and motivated to vote this year.
But I know the state was almost in armed uprising against its own governor over his Corona paranoia before wildfires took priority, so its possible the Red will prevail too.
Don't forget Boulder. Boulder is like the Berkeley to Denver's LA.
Nobody considers Boulder anything but a subset of Denver anyway. If it ain't in the mountain, its Denver.
Except for Trinidad, that's the tranny capital of the country.
I voted for Gore and then Obama twice.
Your cynicism leads me to think you don't know the ground nearly as well as I do. I'm confident Minnesota will flip, I live close enough and have enough contacts there to understand the mood.
I'm also confident that Michigan will not flip. People there are extremely angry with Whitmer; she's pretty much singlehandedly destroyed any chance the Democrats had of flipping.
With Michigan and Minnesota as they are, Wisconsin isn't in play and I think Biden is a moron for making an ad buy there, but a fool and his money are soon parted. The Wisconsin democrats core is Madison and Milwaukee, but with riots in Kenosha they'll lose the suburbs, and with football politicized they're going to bleed in Green Bay as well.
I sincerely hope people in Detroit were paying attention when Biden insulted that autoworker. People of Michigan, this is what Biden and Harris think of all of you.
Hey, I hope you're right, but as I say I'll be surprised, It'd be a nice surprise but still...
I'm sure you do know the ground better than I do. And I'm curious, do you think the Dems in Wisconsin, or any of the riot hit states, will lose any of their city strongholds? Or will whatever swing there is be relegated to the suburbs?
There are essentially four metros in the area.
Minneapolis-St Paul, Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay-Oshkosh.
Madison is about as far left as the People's Republic of Johnson County. The entire metro are all leftist koolaid drinkers.
Milwaukee... has probably the darkest history of institutionalized racism in the US since WWII. It was ground zero of redlining, and was one of the first cities to be blasted with massive job losses (particularly among blacks) in the post Bretton Woods world, as early as the late 50's. The people in Milwaukee have genuine reason to be angry because they've been stabbed in the back by this country for 60 years. I don't think they're going to stop being angry and voting democratic anytime soon. However, the Milwaukee suburbs will flip because of the violence.
Minneapolis doesn't actually have the large poor black population of Milwaukee. Instead they have the same problem as Madison, they're all psychotic leftists. But the suburbs are huge and more importantly the suburbs of Minneapolis are very, very rich. Fear will drive them rightwards.
The Green Bay - Oshkosh corridor is decidedly more blue collar working whites, that territory already went Trump and will go further.
They do actually. As much as the thought makes them nauseous, they accept the fact that 2016 can repeat itself if they wont do anything about it. That's why we have the infamous quote "Make sure 2016 never happens again". That's why social media go out of their in preparation to censor any and all reports on Trump victory if it occurs and only let Biden lie about his victory.
Also there were veiled threats to let Biden win or there will be riots.
what the hell is that gif
i need to know more
It's the Jovian matter blaster from Space Pirate Captain Harlock (2013).
It does exactly what it's name inplies.
Totally read that as "master blaster". Was fine with it. (Given the number of times it's been used in media one more wouldn't matter.)
