The lead is buried in the article where the writer just whinges endlessly on how that wasn't "Real Feminism" anyway. I didn't finish reading it.

Seems to be implying that because it was propaganda then we shouldn't be disillusioned by the fakeness of it. Which sounds like something a propagandist would say when caught... >_>

This is interestingly also why male dominated jobs like HVAC technician, electric lineman, oil field worker, etc are still fairly highly paid jobs. They still have the old pre-women in the workforce labor pool to choose from.

They're also physically strenuous, dangerous, and, more importantly, lack air conditioning.

and, more importantly, lack air conditioning.

Which, in the case of HVAC is mildly humorous.

The idea of "Service guarantees citizenship" seems better every day

True republic, either citizenship by land ownership, or public/military service. People need skin in the game to be a voter

I believe originally in the USA only landowners had the right to vote. I can definitely see an upside to raising the barrier to voting. The fact that the Left is continually trying to lower the barrier suggests raising it is probably a good idea it and of itself.

But if a man quit his reserved factory job, he'd get drafted.

What can I say?

When you're right, you're right.

Universal suffrage was a mistake.

The 19th Amendment was dumber than the 18th, and should have been reversed as quickly.
