Pragmatically speaking, if you can silence the young white wokesters, BLM will run out of steam. He is trying to rally blacks to reject the fake racism pushed by progressives. I think everyone knows there is far more opposition to BLM coming from whites than blacks.

He's criticizing the absolute reality that young white people who are college educated are generally pro-BLM and trying to tell him that real racism is happening. He is saying that their grievances are not legitimate.
If it takes a black man to snap them out of their ideological possession, frankly, I don't mind. Break the possession then once they are actually receptive to new ideas, we can explain why race shouldn't influence your opinion on the validity of an argument.
