What conversation? This narrative that all whites are bad people is a dangerous. The best conversation that parents of all colors can have is to look at all the facts of the case. I’ll say it again, 7 shots is excessive but it’s hard for me to feel sympathy when you wrestle with cops, ignore their instructions, and reach into your vehicle.
The shots are excessive meme is so tiring. There is no such thing as excessive shots in a life or death situation. Anyone who has ever had combat training know this, even Thomas Sowell said as much, and he was a pistol trainer in the Marines.
Good points. I was in the military, but since I was in the Air Force we didn’t have the same type of combat training. It is wrong of me to second guess. It’s hard for me to feel sorry for the man who chose to ignore cops.
That actually makes sense. The air force label every bullet because they expect you to not be able to reload in any situation where you need a gun, and also to stay out of the way of anyone who can reload.
While the marines treat shooting practice like a tourist. Oh look in the distance, its something ot shoot, and to your right, something to shoot, and oh listen, is that something to shoot? Let's make a statue out of lead for the attackers commemoration.

How can you call it excessive when Jacob Blake survived? When an armed rapist resists arrest, you shoot him until he stops resisting.
Good point. I have to rethink this. But Blake put himself in that situation. This is why I can’t feel bad for him.
How so? The only time to shoot is when you want to inflict deadly force. 7 shots were fired and the rapist still lived, so how is that excessive?
Good point. And it’s easy to judge after the fact. Blake only has himself to blame for being paralyzed.
They're literally trained to continuously fire until the target is down.
Something about joggers and crossing roads to accommodate their workout routine.
Is it?
