I would disagree with this too. "Right" is just "anti-Leftist". That's all. Royalists and Theocrats are not Leftists, and are therefore "Rightists". They are also authoritarian.
All leftist systems are authoritarian, but not all authoritarian systems are leftist.
I get where he's going with the idea to nullify private contracts with the use of government coercion, but that's an aspect of authoritarianism first. Not leftism first. You'd have to argue that Leftism is the precursor to authoritarianism, but that's simply not possible.
