Recent events have really made me wish voting was never recognized as a universal right. I would gladly give up my vote if it kept idiots like this away from the ballot box.
I understand where your coming from but ill have to respectfully disagree. I believe Voting to be the ultimate form of Free Expression and a fundamental human right. Sure we have dickheads that vote against us, but thats human nature.
Plus giving this morons the opportunity to pick a side and still get it wrong just proves their foolishness. Without voting I wouldnt be able to point and laugh at the people crying REEEE
I would happily go back to only property owners get a vote. Or I guess since zoomers can't seem to understand the concept of saving money for a down payment, contributing to taxes. I.e. People with actual skin in the game are the only ones who get a say
This is precisely why I argue for an 18+ vote, 16 at a minimum (as some 16 year old do work).
I can't cite exactly which countries but I know some have been arguing for a 14year old vote.
