They really need to leave their socialist/statist voting habits behind when they go.

The won't; I know this from first-hand experience. Everything is the fault of the "right-wingers" and because the policies weren't implemented "correctly". They never consider that the leviathan bureaucracy required to implement the policies they agitate for today becomes the "fascist" government they agitate against tomorrow.
