Welcome to the pit, and be prepared to be called alt-right.I can say that you definitely need to be careful to not let them live rent free in your head. It’s extremely easy in today’s environment to become so anti-(insert ideology here) that it negatively affects your mental health and personal beliefs. I manage to stay sane by still having my own side hobbies, working on projects, just doing my own thing and taking breaks from the “culture war” whenever it starts to take a toll on me. But we are pretty chill here, and the mods are pretty good at being janitors without abusing their powers.
The "alt-right" is just a word for people who don't want to be a communist or a neo-con. The current "right" thinks that people should be ruled by money, and the current "left" thinks that money and property should be abolished. The so called third position is rejecting both of those choices of that false dichotomy.
If you want some sanity I suggest watching some videos by Asha Logos he has helped me quite a bit.
Alt-right was briefly used by some former liberals who felt the need to oppose the political left, but still felt hesitation to support the establishment right. Once the media went wild with the term it got dropped pretty fast.
The real alt-right(or whatever Richard Spencer thinks the alt-right is) are progressives rooting for a different colored jersey. It doesn't end well for the jews if either team wins, although the alt-right forfeits by default for not having enough players.
Don't make your life about hating them. If you can, don't hate them at all. It doesn't really make you better than them if you do.
Just realise that they, like you, have good intentions but have been misled on what would cause a good outcome. Realise that 90% of the time they haven't really thought through the mantras they are chanting and can't be specific when they are asked what the problem is or how their solution helps.
But yeah this isn't a fun little club or identity. You are welcome (and often encouraged) to disagree with us on some things because we're not a monolith and we don't issue ideological purity tests to reject people who don't toe the line. Just believe what you believe, think what you think, argue what you argue, and extend us the courtesy to do the same.
If we don't fight we lose, this not hating them mindset is a weak approach in my opinion. These people deserve all the hatred in the world and more, as I honestly believe that they are one of the most destructive forces the west has ever seen. If you don't hate people who want to destroy everything you love, everything your ancestors have fought for, then there's something wrong with you. Hatred is my motivation, and I'm not willing to give it up.
Don't make your life about hating them. If you can, don't hate them at all. It doesn't really make you better than them if you do.
Ends up making it tougher for you to help inform regular people too. Average joes and janes don't like zealots and they'll just roll their eyes and tune you out.
More of an issue I think is that hate leads to othering - you know, calling communists garbage, trash, rats, and all sorts of other "lovely" phrases. At the end of the day you have to recognize they're still people like you, with souls, hopes, goals, fears, desires, favorite foods, and everything else that we also experience since we're all people. If I was saying this in oldKIA2 that'd get some eye-rolls, sure, but bad things tend to start happening when people start getting dehumanized, and what better example of that is there than all the numerous failed socialist utopias?
... you really are stupid aren’t you? One side commits all the violence and when we take a stand we get blamed. But sure I’ll stick to standing up against evil while you do nothing.
Don't let them live rent free in your head. They hate you because they perceive you and your friends as a right-wing death-squad zealot, and anything to subdue you is justified.
If you're not careful, you'll fall into the same trap, seeing "the enemy" everywhere and anywhere you go. Eventually, you become the thing you hate, just with a different coat of paint.
Always stay true to attacking arguments and ideas, never people. In any confrontation, always maintain the high ground through nonaggression. And if you do end up having to defend your life, exercise restraint the moment you are safe.
And finally, get off the Internet and go outside. Take a deep breath, and enjoy your life. Even in the epicenters of the far-leftist wankfest, most people just want to get on with their lives.
In short, don't define yourself by the culture war.
How to stay sane? It may feel irresponsible with the world falling apart around us, but focus on other things, especially things that are constructive (whether that means creating something that you think will be helpful to others, taking pride in doing your job or finally giving your house a good cleanup). It's hard to stay grounded if you spend all your free time reading about this shit, watching videos or trying to win discussions about it.
If for whatever reason you can't get away from dealing with this (or if you can handle it), then try to organize locally. Most people IRL are normie moderates who believe whatever news sources they follow - they might not agree with you but they're probably just well-intentioned but ignorant. You can help them build up mental defenses against the far left's emotional arguments and constant gaslighting, either directly or simply by helping to bring out whatever latent appreciation of property rights, the family unit etc. they already have (but have never really had to think about).
Focus your life on what you want to build positively. Spending all day every day focused on how awful your enemies are breeds nothing but hatred and will ruin you in the long run.
The best way to counter insurgencies is to actually create better communities, which is something hatred can't ever do.
Faith. If it wasn't for my faith in God, I'd probably, no, would definitely be a lot more depressed and angry than I already am. So that helps a lot, and also burying the feelings of rage that Clown World invokes in me. And not paying too much attention to it since that doesn't do you any good at all.
Just follow the Lord, lift, and make sure you're ready when the chance to hit back comes.

Communism should have the stigma that fascism has multiplied by a thousand...it's truly the evil of the world.

This is super faggy. This mindset of not hating them lets them walk all over us.
Live life as you please, but it doesn't matter whose "side" you're on - angry, zealous, ideological puritans are all the same to the casual observer.

Get of the fence or get killed by a commie, it’s your choice.
Don't worry, son. Your puberty will end and then all will be clear to you.

Keep that open hand of your all the way to the gallows whe the commies hang you. Bet you’ll feel superior as your dying.
You'll probably try throwing me off a helicopter for not hating enough well before if things even get to that point.
Please stick to your keyboard, thanks!

They will throw a lot of hate your way. Just remember they are pure evil, so hatred from them just means you're doing it right.
the more flack you get, the closer to target you are.
