I agree with that. I used to joke that we have privatized socialism in US. No one is laughing at that though.

Mussolini considered Keynes' The End of Laissez-Faire as the manual for fascist economics. Hoover used it to create the New Deal before it had a name, and FDR went big. The US is literally a fascist economy.
