If you work around these people, ALWAYS keep meticulous records and NEVER interact with them one on one.
We had this one gal who was a massive SJW. She was also lazy but thought that tears and having a degree from a good school was all she needed to skate by.
She got assigned to a project I was supervising. I also picked up one of the new recruits for the project just so I had a witness. Gave the SJW a 4 hour project and a week to do it. When we reviewed it I had the new recruit with us. Got the SJW to commit at the outset that she had spent 20 hours on it. Needless to say it was pure trash and I voiced my displeasure to a barrage of tears. Left meeting and called HR. Turned over my whole file on this moron and they confirmed the meeting with the new recruit.
Of course, she later called HR on me the next day and when she went to meet with them she got fired.
These people not only suck, but they cause massive drains on productivity because you have to over staff projects (need a witness) and document everything which adds 10% to the workload.
I wish documenting everything was only 10% of the workload. Sometimes its far and above it, in terms of how much you need to catch in the act and drop everything to document/date/sign forms.
Can confirm, work in Construction in AUS, Safety Management is so strict here that sometimes the documentation and OHS preperation for a task can take longer than the task itself.
This is good advice and something I learned the hard way unfortunately. However, it won't help you when your boss is biased and believes them just because.
I was once fired unexpectedly because a feminist colleague was making up bullshit complaints about me behind my back. My boss never addressed it with me, so I had no idea it was going on and I had no opportunity to defend myself.
So just to add more advice:
Be prepared to be fired unexpectedly. Keep your resume up to date, your options open, etc. and don't make any big commitments that could cost you a lot if you get fired soon.
Know your rights.
Don't trust anyone.
As the comment above says, keep records of everything. If something was said to you orally, shoot the person an e-mail soon after to ask them to confirm what they said. "Hey, I just wanted to make sure I understood you. You told me to do X and you'd do Y, right? If not, please respond to this e-mail to let me know".
Don't let issues linger. If you feel something is going on (e.g. your boss seems to like you less and less for a reason that escapes you), address it immediately.
Don't give people dirt on you, or anything they could hold over your head later. My boss offered me an illegal arrangement, which I refused.
Keep dirt on people (SJW colleagues, superiors, the company...). I know it sounds scummy, but you need ammo against their dishonest tactics. Hopefully you won't have to use it.
Play the victim against SJWs and discredit them early. Use their tactics. SJW colleague makes an off-color joke? Complain about sexual harassment, even if you know it's just a joke and you aren't offended. SJW colleague tells a black colleague that she supports Affirmative Action? Reassure your colleague you don't think he's a diversity hire, you have a great opinion of him as a professional, and you'll support him if he wants to complain to HR about the SJW's comments.

I worked with a feminist intern who wasted a lot of time making sure anything she wrote was "inclusive" when nobody asked her to. When told to cut it out, she'd say shit like lack of inclusive writing is the reason girls stick to "female" jobs.
She herself had first gone to college in a female-dominated field, dropped out, then went back in another female-dominated field. But of course, it was easier to blame her lack of ambition or lack of interest for a field like finance or physics on the absence of inclusive writing in society... By that logic I guess it's also society's and my parents' fault that I'm not an astronaut, if only they had just told me little boys who don't pay attention in physics class can go to the moon like everyone else!
She was insufferable to work with for a variety of other reasons. Mainly because she had an attitude that everything had to be done the way that made things easier for her, and if anyone refused to accommodate her she'd take it as a personal attack and complain to the boss.
From what I know, Little Miss StrongWoman "It's sexist that women give up their career more often than men to raise their kids!" went on maternity leave during her internship two years ago and hasn't worked since.
My company hired a muslim girl recently who stated in her introduction that she was very into social justice. Of course she must bring social justice to the west and not her barbaric religion. Thankfully, she's not on my team. Not that that will save me from the inevitable struggles sessions.
Always report this abusive behavior. Insubordination and racism is not ok. Even if the company is woke, they have a bottom line they need to maintain. If she is harming productivity and being toxic, HR needs to know.
Things rarely happen on first instance, but if she treats all male employees with contempt, she'll be fired.
I haven't done hiring in a while but at this point I see any degree softer than biology to be a liability.
One nice thing about SJWs is, since they are narcissists, they have an extensive social media presence that makes them really easy to spot in a casual search.
But it probably isn't a bad time to invest in companies that do background checks.

I used my Psyche degree to teach me how to get people to open up to me, how to get those people to do things they don't usually want to do, and generally how the brain works in terms of motivation, thought process, and effects. Things that made me incredibly capable of a manager over much more experienced cohorts.
Honestly I/O Psychology should be considered the default field, over counseling/therapy in terms of need to society.
The fact that nearly none of my fellow classmates at the time did anything of the sort tells me all of them would be retardedly useless no matter what their degree. And in my time fooling around in other departments, there are still plenty Affirmative Action promoted idiots filling those degrees too.
I learned a long time ago that making my employees settle matters among themselves like adults minimized all issues to irrelevant and actually improved cohesion.
The few times I involved HR and above, the problem was never solved and everyone was more miserable for it.
This works until you get someone who starts to think a bad review is sexism or racism, and if you happen to glance at their cleavage through their work inappropriate outfits, then it's sexual harassment.

Easiest way in an interview is to ask what THEIR contribution to the projects on the resume.
All shit workers (SJW included) will always talk about what "the team" did. It was a "team" effort. When pressed for technical details, decision making, challenges faced, and risks taken and averted, they ALWAYS come up empty because they did not actually participate.
